“Tourism Leaders” Educational Program
April 21 - April 24
Tourism Committee of Armenia announces the start of the “Tourism Leaders” educational program taking place in Cyprus in the scope of the “Tourism Education Improvement” program.
The program is implemented by Matena International School of Leadership and Professional Development.
The three-day program will be held from April 21 to 24, 2024 in Cyprus.
The courses will be conducted by:
- Christian Baumgartner, Matena expert, professor at the FHGR University’s Tourism and Leisure Institute (Switzerland) and at the IMC Krems University’s Tourism, Winemaking Business and Marketing Institute(Austria).
- Marat Atnashev, Matena expert, Center Associate at Davis Center, Harvard University.
The thematic direction of the courses:
- strategic planning in tourism,
- leadership in tourism,
- best practices in organizing tourism activities.
In order to get acquainted with the leading international experience, at the end of the courses, a study visit will be held to an institution specialized in tourism development in Cyprus.
Tourism/hospitality industry executives or senior professionals with at least a qualification of bachelor's degree, who have at least two years of work experience in Armenia, are eligible to apply.
The course fee, business trip expenses, and accommodation expenses are fully funded by the Tourism Committee of Armenia as part of the "Tourism Education Improvement" program.
